3 Reasons Why A Deck of Cards is Just As Important as Your Keys and Cellphone!

There are common items that people will bring with them anywhere they go. My wife carries her "purse of a million items" (Target's inventory in a bag) whenever she goes out. The cardinal items are generally: phone / headphones, keys, and battery-pack. I think that people should bring a deck of cards with them everywhere they go and here are 3 reasons why!

1) 1 deck with infinite possibilities
     Cards are not limited to magic, the most common purpose is to play games. 1 deck of cards provide more entertainment for a small group of people more then a phone can. Personally, I like demonstrating card throwing techniques and would often make proposition bets. So keep a deck on you and see how "downtime" can instantly change to make things go quicker.

2) BE the LIFE of the party
    At every social gathering, doesn't matter where, there is ALWAYS that #awkward person sitting alone in the corner on their phone tweeting how #boring the party is. So please, #DontBeThatPerson. Get a deck of cards, keep it in your book bag and be the icebreaker, the attention grabber, the interesting person that has the ~magical~ power to attract that poor #loner from the corner to watch you perform routines that leave people #mindblown and looking like this.

3) Preform and network
     Cards provide an interesting platform for conversation. Often, just holding or shuffling a deck of cards can cause people to look over. I've had amazing conversation about their childhood just by taking out a deck of cards on the train. People are often looking for things to talk about and just need that common ground. A simple deck of cards will often accomplish what experts teach entire courses on.

So next time you grab your gear when running out of the house, change it up, be awesome and grab a deck of cards
