Gambling Sleights and the Art of Deception

Of the 3 fundamental card disciplines, the most legendary is the discipline of gambling slights and the art of deception. The techniques used by mechanics/card cheats/card sharks are slight of hand maneuvers that look average and honest but accomplishes an ulterior motive.

The purpose of these slights and use of deception is to provide the cheat with an unfair advantage over the other players. The technique is practice to mask the fact that anything has happened. Unlike the other two disciplines where a spectator is a beneficiary, the art of deception is used to conceal any activities that the cheat may be doing. This art is used to hide all the movements that the cheat may be doing.
